The College Baseball Blog sent writer Nate Owen to cover the Division 3 Regional in Mansfield Connecticut on Friday. The first game of the day featured Trinity (CT) taking on Southern Maine in a winner’s bracket game. Trinity was able to walk away with a 6-0 victory. The second game of the day saw Husson defeat Babson by a score of 10-6 to eliminate Babson. The third game of the day was between Eastern Connecticut and Southern Maine which was won by Eastern Connecticut by a score of 7-2 to end Southern Maine’s season. The final game of the night was a winner’s bracket matchup between WPI and Trinity. Trinity won the game in dominating fashion 14-0.
