The College Baseball Blog would like to announce that Brandon May of Alabama as our Player of the Week while Alex Wimmers of Ohio State as our Pitcher of the Week.
Brandon May had an excellent week for the Alabama Crimson Tide as he led the team to a 3-0 record last week. He hit at a .563 clip with six runs scored, three doubles, a triple, and two homers. He had a slugging percentage of 1.250.
Alex Wimmers of Ohio State had his best career outing on Saturday as he pitched a nine inning no-hitter against Michigan. He ended up striking out 14 batters while walking four Wolverines hitters.
