Week 11 NCBWA/D3baseball.com Poll

MINNEAPOLIS – The D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25 media poll was released Tuesday and Salisbury University moved from No. 4 to No. 3. The Sea Gulls (36-6) collected five first-place votes and 557 points.

University of Southern Maine (34-5) remains the top-ranked team for the third straight week. The Huskies received eight first-place votes and 596 total points. Pomona-Pitzer College (35-5) stays put at No. 2 for the second consecutive week as the Sagehens garnered 10 first-place votes and 584 points. Following SU, Eastern Connecticut State University (31-6) jumped from No. 7 to No. 4 as the Warriors collected one first-place vote and 517 points. Heidelberg University (33-7) rounds out the top five as the Knights received 495 points.

Keystone (Pa.) College (34-4) received the final first-place vote as the Giants, who are ranked No. 9, collected 430 points.

Salisbury is next scheduled to play at home against Montclair State University (25-15) on Wednesday, May 6, at 3:30 p.m. The game will close out the regular-season for the Sea Gulls.
