Here are some of the best stories going on right now in College Baseball.

April 15th 2009 will be known for a major upset in Baton Rouge LA where Nicholls State picked up a 3-1 victory over the LSU Tigers. The most impressive thing was that the Colonels used eight different pitchers in the game with none of them giving up more then a single hit. You can check out the full recap by clicking here.

Arkansas need a two run rally in the bottom of the tenth inning to break a three game losing streak as they knocked off Louisiana-Monroe 10-9. Could Arkansas be going through a mid-season swoon or are they overrated? The full recap from the game is available by clicking here.

Kansas State completed a season sweep over intrastate rival Wichita State on Wednesday with a 4-3 win. Kansas State is now 28-9 overall and setting themselves up for an NCAA Regional bid.

Ohio State dropped a tough 8-7 game against Kent State in a matchup between the two best programs right now in the state of Ohio. This was a bigger win for Kent State as they don’t have many quality wins and will be on the outside looking in if they lose in the MAC Tournament. Kent State currently has an RPI of 77 and looking at their schedule only Bowling Green State is in the Top 180 in RPI at 176.
