Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina freshman right-handed pitcher Matt Price sustained a fractured right wrist injury in a collision at first base in Tuesday night’s game at The Citadel and will miss the remainder of the 2009 season. The baseball team will pursue a medical hardship for Price. The Gamecock right-hander was 1-1 with a 4.05 ERA in seven appearances and 20 innings pitched.
