EUGENE, Ore. - Blake Crosby hit the first grand slam out of PK Park on Tuesday afternoon, but unfortunately for the Ducks, Crosby was sporting a Sacramento State uniform, and the senior first baseman helped lead the Hornets to a 10-5 victory.
No. 10 UC Irvine Out-Slugs Washington, 17-13
SEATTLE - A ninth-inning sacrifice fly from DJ Crumlich broke a 13-13 tie as the No. 10 UC Irvine baseball team out-slugged Washington for a 17-13 win Tuesday night at Husky Ballpark.

Stephen Strasburg was named National Pitcher of the Week after his fifteen strikeout performance against BYU.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) released the Pro-Line Athletic National Player of the Week awards for the period ending March 22, today. East Carolina junior designated hitter Kyle Roller was named National Hitter of the Week, while San Diego State’s junior right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg was named National Pitcher of the Week. After the opening weekend of Conference USA play, East Carolina is the lone unbeaten team. The Pirates continued their offensive explosion in a three-game sweep of UCF. Houston, Marshall and Rice each won two-of-three during the opening weekend of league play. LOS ANGELES – Heated rivals Japan and Korea met Monday night at Dodger Stadium with the World Baseball Classic championship on the line.
But it wasn’t even the most important baseball game played in Los Angeles.
