WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head baseball coach Greg DiCenzo has announced the 2009 incoming freshman class for the Crusaders. Matt Brown (San Diego, Calif.), Zach Burdeau (Andover, Mass.), John Colella (Herndon, Va.), Jordan Enos (Stockton, Calif.), Vaughn Hayward (Glendale, R.I.), Chris Kono (Greenwich, Conn.), Alexis Maldonado (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Thomas Marra (Sea Cliff, N.Y.), Josh Olson (Woodbury, Min..), Patrick Puenetes (East Greenbush, N.Y.) and Steph Wadsworth (Wayland, Mass.) will join the Holy Cross program in 2009.

“We have added some outstanding student-athletes in this graduating high school class of 2009,” said DiCenzo. “Each of these players has shown a commitment to the College of the Holy Cross and they are eager to build upon the history and tradition of this program. We were able to demonstrate the far-stretching reputation that Holy Cross beholds, while recruiting top-notch players from various demographic areas outside of New England. I could not be happier for our program, but more importantly, I am extremely excited for each and every one of these student-athletes. They all have an outstanding opportunity that awaits them.”
