Denny Crabaugh, coach of #1 Oklahoma City, goes for his 1,000th victory at Bacone on Feb. 26. The Stars host Bethany (KS) Feb. 27, Hastings Feb. 28 and March 1, Lyon March 1, and Iowa Wesleyan March 2.

The Stars are led by sophomore IF Kirk Walker, who is batting .565. IF Brent Weaver has hit 11 home runs and has 31 RBI, and is batting .478. On the mound, RHP Justin Harper is 3-0, 2.25 ERA.

#2 Lee took their first loss of the season against Georgetown College on Feb. 20, but won the other three games of the series. They swept a double-header at #23 Montreat Feb. 24, running their record to 14-1. The Flames host Brewton-Parker Feb. 27-28.

#3 Point Loma Nazarene leads the Golden State Athletic Conference with a 6-0 record. The Sea Lions lost a non-conference game to Cal State San Marcos 9-1 on Feb. 24, making their overall record 11-3; RHP Johnny Holtman pitched a complete game for Cal State San Marcos. Holtman’s record is 1-0, 1.16 ERA. The Sea Lions travel to San Diego Christian on Feb. 25, and #12 Fresno Pacific on Feb. 28.

#4 Spring Arbor starts their season on Feb. 27, at Campbellsville. They also play a neutral-site game against Lindsey Wilson on the 2th, and play Campbellsville and Lindenwood on the 28th.

#5 Union (KY) hosts Bluefield Feb. 28-March 1, and Georgetown College March 3.

#6 Bellevue gets a serious start to their season at #10 LSU-Shreveport on March 1. They go to William Carey March 2, and play #15 Cumberland and #13 Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach on March 4.

#7 Lewis-Clark State lost to Dickinson State and D-II Saint Martin’s last weekend. They host D-I Gonzaga Feb. 25, and Corban Feb. 27-28.

#8 Azusa Pacific avenged an earlier loss to #19 The Master’s on Feb. 19, and swept a double-header against San Diego Christian on Feb. 21. They lost a game to D-III Chapman on Feb. 23. The Cougars host #12 Fresno Pacific on Feb. 25, and travel to Vanguard on Feb. 28.

#9 Lubbock Christian hosts Oklahoma Baptist, who is 10-3, Feb. 27-28.

#10 LSU-Shreveport split a double-header with #14 Texas Wesleyan on Feb. 23, 10-6 and 0-3. In the first game, C Brent Lavalee hit his 10th home run of the season, and RHP John James ran his record to 5-0, 4.03 ERA. RHP Joey Evans pitched a one-hit shutout in the second game, and CF Ryan Jacobi batted in all three runs. Evans’ record for the season is 3-0, 0.42 ERA, 23 strikeouts. The Pilots travel to Loyola-New Orleans Feb. 27-28, and host #6 Bellevue March 1.

Point Loma Nazarene got their first GSAC loss on Wednesday, 5-1 to San Diego Christian.

Azusa Pacific defeated Fresno Pacific 10-6.

Lewis-Clark State defeated Gonzaga 7-1.
