Conference USA will open its 14th season of baseball this Friday. UCF is set to begin the Terry Rooney era with its series against Virginia Commonwealth. Armed with its No. 3 national ranking, Rice heads west to face Cal Poly. East Carolina, Southern Miss and Tulane are also ranked in at least one poll and that trio will host Monmouth, Lehigh and LeMoyne, respectively, in three-game series this weekend.
