Reno, Nev. – The white team evened the University of Nevada baseball teams Blue versus White series with a 9-3 victory at Peccole Park in game four on Tuesday morning. The final game of the five-game series that will conclude fall practiced is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. and is free and open to the public.

Freshman lefty Jacob Anderson allowed two runs on four hits to earn the win for the white team today. Another Pack freshman Cole Saunders pitched the final three innings of the seven-inning game to earn the save. Freshman Brandon Petrangelo suffered the loss allowing four runs in four innings on the mound.

Center fielder Waylen Sing Chow started the game with a solo home run to lead off the game and the white squad led 1-0. Sing Chow finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk in the game. White shortstop Kevin Rodland also homered and was 2-for-4 at the plate in game four. Second baseman Nick Leid also went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs.

The blue team was led by two Bowman’s, shortstop Willie and second baseman Matt. Willie was 2-for-2 and his cousin Matt drove in one with his RBI double to lead the blue squad.

Game one starters Stephen Bautista and Tyler Rogstad will square off once again in the deciding fifth game tomorrow. Rogstad got the win in the first match up. Bautista left with his team on top 2-0 in game one but the bullpen failed to hold the lead.
