The Penn State baseball team will begin its fall schedule Sunday when it faces Bucknell at 11 a.m. at Medlar Field in University Park, Pa. The Nittany Lions are scheduled to face the Bison during the regular season on March 31st at home, as well.
Bucknell went 30-24-2 last spring. The Nittany Lions finished at 27-31. Penn State defeated the Bison, 8-3, in the two teams’ last meeting in 2008.
Next weekend, the Nittany Lions will battle Shippensburg on Sunday, Oct. 12 at Medlar Field to round out its off-season schedule.
Penn State begins play in February against St. John’s (N.Y.) in St. Petersburg, Fla. during the Big Ten/Big East Challenge.
