The Cape Cod Baseball League will start action on Friday when the Wareham Gatemen take on the Falmouth Commodores in the only game of the evening. The game will hold special significance as it is the only game on the evening as the Gatemen honor John Wylde’s years of service to the community and team. Mr. Wylde was diagnosed last September with inoperable cancer of the liver but has been strong throughout.
