2008 CBB Regional Preview: Coral Gables

The Miami Hurricanes head back to the NCAA Tournament as the top seed in the entire 64 team tournament and will host a Regional in Coral Gables at Mark Light Stadium. The Canes have a 47-8 overall record while going a solid 23-5 in the tough ACC. They will be joined by Missouri and Ole Miss. The Tigers have a 38-19 record while going 16-11 in the Big 12. Ole Miss on the other hand is 37-24 with a conference mark of 15-15. Missouri will send their ace to the mound on Friday to face off against Ole Miss ace Lance Lynn which is one of the top pitching matchups in the first round of the tourney. The final team in the Regional is Bethune-Cookman 36-20 and an outstanding 17-1 in the MEAC.
