The Wichita State Shockers will head to the University of Kansas on Tuesday for a mid-week showdown between in-state rivals. Kansas heads into the game with a 18-12 record but 1-5 in the Big 12. Wichita State on the other hand is having a strong season like usual with a record of 20-3 while being a perfect 3-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference after sweeping Illinois State a few weeks back. The Shockers will send Tim Kelley to the mound sporting a record of 2-1 with a 5.29 ERA. Kansas will counter with Shaeffer Hall who is 2-1 with a 4.11 ERA. The CBB will be in attendance tonight so come back for a full game recap.

I have my KU vs. Wichita State game preview up at Rock Chalk Talk now. There will be free KU audio for those outside the Lawrence area who want to listen in.

The story will be updated later this afternoon when Aman adds the WSU prospect previews. If you are going to the game, it will be cold so dress like you did when you were a kid heading out for a full day of sledding and snow fort battles.
