One of the top matchups on Tuesday night is when the College of Charleston Cougars visit The Citadel in a battle between the two Charleston SC schools. College of Charleston comes in with a 10-3 overall record where all the games have come in the friendly confines of The CoC Baseball Stadium at Patriot Point. The best victory on the year is a 13-12 victory over Coastal Carolina. The Citadel enters with a 9-3 record without playing a road game on the year. The best victory on the year for the Bulldogs is a 1-0 ten inning victory over 2007 CWS participant Louisville. The starting pitchers for the game this evening is Clay Caulfield for CoC sporting a 2-0 record with a 1.86 ERA against The Citadel’s Asher Wojciechowski who has a 1-0 record with a 0.60 ERA.
