Hawaii knocks off Vulcans in 11

The Hawaii Rainbows knocked off Hawaii-Hilo Vulcans in eleven innings by a 5-4 score. Derek DuPree hit a single through the right side with Kevin Fujii scoring his second run of the game to give the Rainbows the victory in the first game in the entire nation. The Rainbows came up with a single run in the bottom of the ninth after a crucial Vulcan error to allow Landon Hernandez to reach with no outs. The Rainbows pinch ran for Hernandez with Kevin Fujii who moved to second on a bunt from Nathan Young. He was ended up getting driven in by Hoey to tie the game up.

I can not remember why they are allow to start the season early. DO you know??

Neither do I…probably because of all the traveling they do.
