Robert Crumpler went 2-4 as he was the only Keydet to record multiple hits in the game. He was followed by Corey Bachman who got the final four outs by giving up two hits and no runs to get his second save of the season. Virginia reliever Jake Rule got tagged with the loss by giving up four runs in the sixth inning while only getting one out. His record drops to 2-2 on the season. Brandon Marsh, Sean Doolittle, and Brandon Guyer all went 2-4 in the losing effort.
