Dan Houston got his first start of the season on Tuesday and took full advantage as he led the Eagles to a 10-3 victory over cross-town rival Northeastern. Houston went eight innings while only surrendering two earned runs on nine hits. He picked up his second victory on the season as Dan is making his transition back into a starter’s role as he filled miserably as the team’s closer during the opening weekends. Eric Campbell hit his second home run in as many days to lead the Eagle offense. Northeastern starter Dan Zehr got the loss by only lasting 4.0 innings while giving up seven runs. His record drops to 1-2 on the year. Northeastern will return to action on Wednesday when they visit Marist while BC is off until Thursday when they host North Carolina for a three game set. The CBB might be in attendance for the series depending on the weather.
